I've often wondered how people can be pro-gun and anti-drug legalization. I personally believe that if you outlaw something, the only people who profit from it are the most dangerous and criminal of all...and that goes for both Guns and drugs. Cocaine and a Glock are basically the same thing. In responsible hands they are a source of many positives to that person (guns offer protection and some positive personal feelings, and firing them can bring some people a lot of pleasure. Drugs offer people positive feelings, can aid in studying and in dieting and bring a lot of pleasure) but in the wrong hands they are the most dangerous things possible. Most unnatural deaths are a result of drugs, guns, alcohol or cars. The question is, can you support one without supporting the other? Does it make you a hypocrite for saying that guns should be allowed (despite their danger to others) but drugs should not?

Guns and certain drugs should be allowed.
I can't wait to turn 21 and get my gun license.
As for drugs, I'll never indulge but I'll defend the liberty to indulge.
The same goes for alcohol, I won't ever drink it but I won't try to make it harder for people to buy it and whatnot.
