Being gay is not a choice, but don't let facts get in the way of your cognitive dissonance and hate.

Why would a psychiatric branch of science ever say there was a gay gene when that would be the kind of statement you would get from genetic science?
Smelled of politics all along.

Actually, he's more so saying his "brothers" are only those Christians that believe exactly as he does on most doctrine/morality issues.

And as Gandhi said, "I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ".

And let's also add, "You can safely assume you've created God in your own image when he hates all the same people you do." - Anne Lamott

Those 2 quotes basically sum up modern day Christianity in this country.

You don't go to a baby doctor for elderly cancer treatment unless you are desperate. So IMO your statement is kind of ridiculous.
Same here, you have politics over truth more than likely; reminds me of the emails showing the climate scientists were faking the results which also served environmentalist political agenda.

We also have a story of the 2010 census over reporting gay couples by 40%. Lots of mistakes everywhere.

No, since 1) Her song did not only include orientation and 2) This article doesn't prove gays are not born this way, it merely claimed they don't know the exact cause, they just don't think it's a single gene.

Stop assuming this article disproves the inborn trait notion. It says nothing of the sort.

You go to a Psychiatrist for issues dealing with the chemistry and behavioral functioning of the brain, which often have genetic basis.

For example, depression is at least in part, genetic.

Yeah, but they've never offered genetic scientific proof, they just made it up.
If they can do something so stupid and bold in this case, just imagine how many people they screw up in their own practices. Anyone who backed the ignorant gay gene science should have their licenses at least reviewed if not revoked.

By the way, maybe if they get geneticists involved they may be able to make the claim later, but for now it is science fiction.

I don't think you know how science works. It's self correcting. If every scientist was fired for supporting a later disproven idea, we'd still be living in caves and cutting our raw meat with rocks.
