I agree with you that he needs to start acting like he can make some of his own decisions and stop listening to all his thugs he hired from Chicago. He should realise he can't just play in the sandbox he actually must do some work to. But then why should he, after all he does have the Chicago Thugs to bully people into what he wants. Remember HE SAID I WON, so that means his way or else.
no president would go though all the trouble to run for office and then not make his own decisions. all presidents have advisors. but if you want to go down that road and pretend that this president doesn't think for himself...go ahead and explain cheney.

No man/woman can be "tested" in everything he/she faces before taking any job. Obama, as other candidates have faced their own adversities throughout their lives. Those situations will play a role in how they react to the myriad of pressures a President will encounter. No one type of experience neccesarily prepares one better than the next.

Do Prime Ministers have as much power as a President? It seems America is getting to the point where the executive office has too much power. I would like to see the power dispearsed outward.
