Yes, the welfare recipients are the people who offer the best deals. Just like when they'll sell the WIC coupons or use of their food stamp card because they want more money to shop at the mall.

What the welfare types do in places where there are deposits on cans is buy up cheap soft drinks which can be bought with food stamps, then they go out in the parking lot and pour out the pop and go back into the store to get the cash and the beer, wine, cigarettes, lottery tickets and whatever else they want that requires cash. $0.60 a 6 pack in some states -- it doesn't take that long to pour out the cans.

My gf know people who live off of welfare, (drives me bonkers).. They are at the bar and/or partying nearly every single day.. I wonder how much closing this loophole will adjust their drinking and partying..

Why did Obama and your democrat Congress give those crooks the bailouts? I agree the bailouts were a very terrible thing to do.

Clarify: In no state can you legally purchase alcoholic beverages with food stamp benefits. Ok...then there are cash benefits (not the same as food stamp benefits) (AFDC/TANF, child support, etc) that people can use like a regular debit card at the grocery store or wherever.

Welfare is welfare.

One track bash the poor mentality is the sign of a bully mentality...and shows a deep rooted fear of the wealthy.
