Here in Lincoln, Nebraska its about 2.90/gallon in alot of places.

My prediction is that the gas prices will be anywhere from 3.00-3.50/gallon this summer.

Default Addicted to OIL

We're in LA. We just paid as of 4/07/05 $3.32. They'll get up to $4.50 by the summer. But I'm not totally worried, we own a few shares in three oil commodities. So please drive your SUV/CUV/PU, I want my shares to go up before I retire. It's sickening, I know. But I see it as Greed. You want big cars to maximize your personal space. Great! We own a Pruis and a Mini. We laugh at the gas stations every time a LAND BEHEMOOTH gases up. That brings up our shares. Thank You very much! Keep Driving! We bought shares when they were pennies to the dollar years ago. Everyone should own some shares while you still can!

Default Gas is too cheap!

Adjusted for inflation, gas is still cheaper than it was in the early 80's, and is comparable to the prices of the 60s and 70s.

In fact it's too cheap. We should raise the tax on gas to offset the cost of road construction/repair, road congestion, and to modify behavior.

Maybe more FAT Americans will think twice in driving a few blocks to McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts or wherever they get their hydrogenated oil, chemically engineered, high fructose corn syrup fix from.

Default What do you think of Obadiah Shoher's views on the Middle East conflict?

What do you think of Obadiah Shoher's views on the Middle East conflict? One can argue, of course, that Shoher is ultra-right, but his followers are far from being a marginal group. Also, he rejects Jewish moralistic reasoning - that's alone is highly unusual for the Israeli right. And he is very influential here in Israel. So what do you think?

Thank God for my bike and the bus. I predict $4.50 around the 4th of July. OPEC and big oil will find some excuse to speculate the price higher.
