This was posted on another forum I visit. The moderator said it best. Stories like this don't really initiate any debate except that the fact that this is really messed up, and PCP must be a really messed up drug.

I worked in a mental health hospital near Bakersfield for a while. PCP was a popular drug in that area for some reason. It makes people VERY psychotic and often people high on this drug also display incredible strength. From my experience, there is no other drug as ugly and dangerous.
I teared up when I read this story. How can you not? I can't imagine how that little boy will ever be able to go on and have any semblance of a normal life. I just hope they can save his eyesight in his one eye but from what I've read they probably won't be able to. His mother also reportedly has a history of doing PCP and failed to attend mandatory drug counseling.
You're right Awesomo. There is no words for this tragedy. I just hope that this little boy is placed with a very loving relative or in a fantastic foster home.
i was going to post this last night as an excellent argument as to why some drugs should ALWAYS remain illegal, but decided it was just too damn gross.

that poor little kid.
If people like this guy were tortured and then shot in a public square, very few people would repeat his actions. It's called personal responsibility and I don't understand why we are so reluctant to punish appropriately.

Dude, seriously..................I mean seriously.......................Give up the right wing Neo Con/Taliban stance for once.
Only sickening scary societies still torcher and do public executions. Lets not get this into a debate. This thread should be more about the poor kid.

That is what the death penalty is for. To enact the ultimate punishment in a proper and civilized manner.

Yeah cause a dude that eats his kids eyeball is CLEARLY thinking about the legal repercussions.
"I would eat my son's eye... but I'm probably gonna get the death penalty (unless I get a really good lawyer)"
Get the kid AWAY FROM THESE creatures. Lock this guy up in a grey box with a food hole and a pee place and weld the door shut. Provide all the PCP he wants even if he does not want any. Killing is too kind.

OK - But Bill Ayers was a torcher.
