Obama, touting the example of California as a model for us as a nation to follow, perhaps he should be looking a little further south to a Real Republican succes story! Texas is doin it right!! they have been responsible for the majority of job growth in the whole nation!

I agree. Got relatives in Cal and most live in a wonderland of socialism. But I was proud of the Cal electorate in the last few days as they voted down 65-35 bills that would have raised taxes in Cal. I guess they are getting the message that raising taxes equates to stimying growth and prosperity. If the Obamates would get that same message we might save the country yet.

Using CA as a example for anything other than excess in spending, laws, illegal alien effects on a state is hilarious. Oh and being the most broke state in the country!

Maybe they can satisfy the budget deficits with IOU's like they did with the tax refunds.

Trust me, my company would NEVER do business in Texas... it's definitely not a requested tourist destination for our jets. So no worries

So, you think Mexico is a Republican success story?

Here in Texas, we didn't have the crazy upsurge in home prices that the east and west coasts did. I don't think any Texas politicians had much of a hand in it.

Trust me, we have the same situation here in Idaho, a large part of our population is CA refugees. Not all bad for us, we have a lot of business that have relocated, and most of "our" Californians are those that wanted to get away from what CA has become. Seems like the only people left will be illegals and the welfare crowd.
