Fights among the religious have been going on for eons. No big news there. They disagreed on the sermon, pulled knives, and decided to send their opponents to the hereafter to have a closer look at the facts.
My question is, did whoever pulled the handgun have a CWP?
when was the last time there was a gunfight at a synagogue between different jewish sects, or a gunfight between baptists and catholics?
There is occasional street violence between different Hasidic sects in NYC although I have never heard of guns being used in these brawls.
I can't think of a gunfight between Baptists and Catholics - but have people already forgotten what went on between Orthodox Christians and Catholics in the '90s in the Balkans - or what went on in Northern Ireland between (mostly Presbyterian) Protestants and Catholics from the '60s through the '90s?
