Isn't that what we have now: the marriage license is the legal document which comes from the city or state, the church ceremony, if two choose is exactly that, a ceremony.

We have a gay foster daughter that is very content with domestic partnership and feels the actually marriage is a religious ceremony joining "one many and one woman."

I guess you have lost me, who ever said anything about parents with adopted kids should have their marriage license revolked? I think you are reading things into some of the comments here and twisting things around.

As for gay couples having kids, as Purplelove states, no, lesbians do not have kids, one part of the partnership may have a child via artificial means, but "they" do not have kids, unless things have changed in the past few years it takes a sperm and an egg to make a baby, I have never seen one sex have both.

Marriage isn't about a d!ck going into a vag!na and releasing sperm. Get a new arguement.

Now what about heterosexual unmarried couples? Are domestic partners defined as same sex only?

Not this bill. If you read the article in the OP it highlights it's good for anyone but will most likely be used by homosexuals and the elderly.

I guess you've never seen The L Word.
By another person. But you knew that already and were being obtuse with a contest that is without merit.

Really? So this country should have accepted segregation in schools? The court did rule that segregation was legal.

I guess you should also tell the people who want to reverse Roe v. Wade that it's been settled already, and they should stop their protests and just go home.

Incorrect. I've known many gay men and women who have had children through heterosexual sex.

Men and women have sex to create a baby. Being gay doesn't preclude one from having heterosexual intercourse.
