80% of her cases that are appealed to higher courts are overturned due to not following the law. That figure is astounding for any judge, and btw, the judges that overturned her decisions, many of them appointed by Clinton..

Sadly, she is. She has no respect for the Constitution, and should be rejected out of hand. But she won't be. The whimpy Republicans are afraid to say anything against her. She simply is not qualified. She is not "blind" (she is a racist, plainly).

Justice is supposed to be blind. By her own admissions, she is not.

Who has been more qualified at the time of appointment with more federal judicial experience to the Supreme Court than the Judge is now?

Who at the time of appointment had more overall judicial experience than the Judge?

Experience means nothing in this case, all her experience has shown that she makes tons of mistakes and does not follow the law, therefore her large number of decisions get overturned.

So in her case it shows she has not learned very well or just does not care.

I am sure you know that experience sometimes does not mean you are the better candidate.

Please clarify - How many decisions has the Judge rendered and how many have been overturned? To keep this in context, please show us another Judge of similar experience and the accompanying ratio. It would be interesting to see how she compares to the current or past Justices if you have that data as well.

Fortunately you cannot be sure what I know; however, I await enlightenment.

Oh it's gone up to 80% now? Link please?

Yesterday the wingnuts were saying it was 60% and that was high.

Then it turns out 60% is below average....LOL

The Times reported that "[t]hree of the five majority opinions written by Judge Sotomayor for the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals and reviewed by the Supreme Court were reversed, providing a potent line of attack raised by opponents." The article then quoted Wright's assertion that Sotomayor's "high reversal rate alone could be enough for us to pause and take a good look at her record." But according to data compiled by SCOTUSblog, Sotomayor's reported 60 percent reversal rate is lower than the overall Supreme Court reversal rate for all lower court decisions from the 2004 term through the present -- both overall and for each individual Supreme Court term.

He scurried away ...an average of 75% are overturned. 60% would be low ...80% would be a big "so what"???
