Actually, a lot of the layoffs occurred while Bush was STILL in office.
I didn't vote for the guy, but if this is what people are getting so upset about, I guess he can't be doing all that bad of a job. This should be the worst of our country's problems... Especially since it isn't actually even a problem at all.

as I said before, I am not privy to obama's schedeule but I understand he is going to be traveling. can I have a show of hands for the people will be upset over the TONS of money we as a nation will be spending when the POTUS and his entourage goes to honor our scarifice and pays his respects at the D-Day ceremony in France?

I'm sure. 25 hours a day when it came to Bush! Sarcasm intended. Get off of this "Bush was different", "apples to oragnes", "this/that doesn't count" kick. The only difference to you is that Bush is a Republican. Do you think he went down there to Texas and never took in a show? Never went out to dinner?
And Bush spent more than 10 MILLION DOLLARS on his 77 vacation trips to Crawford.
