Well since homosexual marriage is banned in my state, I DO live in a land that is homogenous.

This homosexual oxymoron nonsense has got to go...
I can use the same oxymoron for heterosexual divorce. After all isn't divorce based on emotion and not sound logic. Logically noboby should ever be allowed to divorce because as long as both parties can produce offspring - there is no emotional necessity in the marriage.
Why don't you create a thread advocating that divorce between a man and a woman become illegal because it serves no logical purposes - only emotional. |

Even Dick Cheney and Ted Olson believe that same-sex marriage should be legal. Expect more leading Republicans to come out in favor of it in the future.

Well....I'm straight....in case you're suggesting otherwise.
Personally, I think a gay marriage ban is very different from an interracial marriage ban, but I have seen the comparison made before and started the thread because I wanted to hear opinions from both sides. |
