Americans need to start working smarter, as far as their personal fianaces are concerned. Become reliant on themselves instead of thinking govt will be there to make it all right. Your well being is your responsibility, not the govt's.
for point 1 and for point 2.

Yes, we keep getting this feel good propaganda. We also get this propaganda about "evil" Rush, Fox, etc. -- amazing how the networks like to talk about how crazy Rush is, etc., they want us to think he, and those like him, do nothing but lie, etc. I may not agree with all that Fox/Rush/etc says BUT at least they are telling us things that are happening that the other networks don't tell us about.... such as the cost of Cap & Trade to every American. Amazing that only 24% of voters even know that Cap & Trade deals with environmental issues.

He had too much support. That is why we are in this mess!

Umm, don't be too quick to point fingers at all the Fat Cats for getting bailout money.
The Feds forced some banks to take bailout money.
The Feds even forced healthy banks to take bailout money.
But we never heard about that on the major networks, did we? We just heard stories to inflame and outrage the citizens.

You mean like the MILLIONS that he's just handed over to GM? I'm supposed to support that? It would have been better if he'd just handed that money over to GM workers and let that company play in the allegedly capitalist system we have. Or do we???

Nope. No support here.

He has not shown himself to be a "good person". Why do you think so? He didn't give much to charity, even when he finally had a good deal of money. Obama used dirty Chicago politics to get a land deal and his ickey wife a job she did not deserve. (Michelle got the $300 thou per year job when Barry was Senator, a job created for her, a job non-existant after she left for the white house.) You know that don't you?

Wisdom? I'm not seeing much in the administration. Power grabs, yes.

I hope he fails. He is proving himself to be a Marxist.
