A person with upbringing that emphasizes what is right and wrong/treating others with respect/a strong work ethic is the
absoulute moral equal to anyone belonging to a structured religion.
I've had the privilege to know people who belong to many different religions, people who believe in God and don't belong to any religion, people who question the existence of a God and people who don't believe in God. Belonging to a religion and/or believing in a God are not requirements to be a good, moral person.
Those people who judge someone by their religion are the same ones who will judge them by the color of their skin.
