So lets see there are over 1 billion Chinese....hmmm even is 1/10 drove a Hummer boy O boy would that really ruin our enviroment

Also how long till China says "Hmmm lets throw some armor plating on the Hummers and make our very own armor Personel carriers"

Oh and one more thing...When our militarty Hummers break down....who will we buy the parts from....right....China.

I could keep going on and on with this deal but...why...you lefties will think its the best deal..why..because Obumer says it is..

General Motors is the best selling foreign auto maker in China.[24] The Buick brand is especially strong, led by the Buick Excelle subcompact. Cadillac initiated sales in China in 2004, starting with imports from the United States. GM pushed the marketing of the Chevrolet brand in China in 2005 as well, moving the former Buick Sail to that marque. - wikipedia General Motors entry

"Made in America" just took on a whole new meaning.

RE, shares in bank stocks and now Hummer. China has money and is on a shopping spree in America.

How funny that your best conclusion is "Obama is a moron."

Business and environmental regulations work differently than you might like them to.

I can be the best selling widget maker in the world if I made them at $10 per widget and sold them for $8, while my competition made them at $7 and sold them at $8.50. I'd sell myself right out of business, but I'd still be a bestseller.

You like this idea, right? Yesterday you were saying something to that effect. Just get the pieces sold and move on?

I think it's a great idea! China will do very well with this purchase. I'm actually going to take a look at their ticker on Hang Seng or wherever they're listed and call up my broker if I like it.

It doesn't change my previous post's thesis one bit.

The point highlighted above is very concerning. I doubt many people have thought about that (including myself). This is not good news at all.

And I sure that the Obumer admin. will somehow try and spin that " This sale will somehow save jobs in the U.S."
