And California could say the same to Obama in 2012.

If enough SoCal upside down loser homeowners leave the state in disgrace, it may really help in tilting Cali red, or at least very very purple.

I read Schiff's book. He called it before most people had any notion of what was coming.

As for California, you can bet that the government (that's us) will bail them out, and that will open the door for all kinds of requests from other states. We're going to sink under the debt. This is insane.

Many Californians have moved to Nevada and Arizona which has helped make those states more "purple".

I am torn on this one. Although I have left CA and have a much better life here in TX I still have friends and family to worry about in CA. I would hate to see my son suffer but then again he could always come out here to TX and live off Mom and Dad for a while.

CA needs to reform itself just like the US must do. I guess it would be unfair to punish CA while the Federal government just prints more money to keep it afloat. Fair is fair, let's just let CA start up the presses too.

No matter if there's a bailout or not, big changes are already occurring in California. There are no other options. I'm okay with it. We can't (and shouldn't) spend more than we've got.

South California is where most of your Republican voters are, so they can move and the state will just get bluer, not that it matters because everywhere is becoming bluer anyway.

Hmmmmmm.......We should bail our Taxifornia for what reason????
1) They have overtaxed the producers in the state for years and years forcing the middle class and a lot of the wealthy who have had enough to move to a more tax friendly state.
2) They have NEVER seen a social program they didn't like rewarding bad behavior like decades and generation after generation of dependence on social programs, narcotics dependence, and out of wedlock children who roam the streets unsupervised committing crimes.
3) They have, with OPEN ARMS, welcomed "ILLEGAL" aliens into their state with the promise of health care and whatever other social programs they need.

We should bail out THAT Taxifornia????? The state of California has gotten themselves into the mess with bad behavior and bad decisions. To bail them out with no consequences is to reward that very behavior to continue...don't worry other Democrat run state governments like New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Michigan will shortly follow California to the cheese line asking for the Feds (TRANSLATION, YOU AND I......THE PRODUCERS..THE WORKERS) to bail them out. NO, NO, NO, NO, NO...and before you say it, I was against bank bailouts, auto bailouts, and any other bail out be it by Bush or Hussein.

...and it will continue to get bluer until things actually get bad in this country, and not a moment later.
