And the free market brought GM and Chrysler to the position that they are in, obsolete and out of step, just like the Edsel.
Wrong. If the government hadn't interfered, GM and Chrylser would have restructured and survived or closed it's doors for good.

No bailouts, no interference. But that didn't happen.

That is much smaller than my old VW bug!

What is the point of having a car when only one person fits and there is no room for groceries?? Oh, that is what the Dems want. They want us walking or bicycling or purhaps switching to horse and buggy. That would be fun........living like our great-grandparents did! That's change for ya! But, can we keep horses inside the city limits?????? Looks like more laws to be re-written.

The Obama Admin will be reintroducing the Trabant as the only American car that can be purchased. However, it will cost way too much and there will be a six year waiting list. If you know someone in the "party" you may be able to get one in five years. Built here under license from the former East Germans.

The "Trabby"!

You'll still be able to cruise your gas guzzling SUV, I for one am not celebrating the demise of a once great manufacturer, but the fifth column in this country only concerns itself with how America can fail, and they are led by Rush Limbaugh, who has made it clear he wants America to fail (as long as he is paid millions of dollars)

Here's a deal for the Democrat Environmentalists:

I'll buy the Pelosi GTX if Pelosi herself will demonstrate the safety of this car by volunteering to be the driver in the shown side-impact test.

Do we have a deal?

The Chevy Malibu gets 33 hwy. By the time the standards go into effect, I'm sure the Malibu will comply. Most hybrids already get more than 35 mpg.

This is true. They will force you to buy those vehicles you have rejected.

How long before Government Motors sends this gem down the assembly line.

HAHAHA AWESOME

Neither would ever drive one, of course, but they'd expect the rest of us to!
