Couple of points here JBF, if you've got a minute.
1. I'm not a liberal. Voted GOP for more than 20 years.
2. Bush and Cheney went to war to control Iraq's oil. And what does that mean? That it was a war for oil? Maybe? Possibly?
Me thinks some posters on this board have a terrible time paying attention. I could be wrong about that.
Paying attention requires a bit of effort. To some here, everything is so black and white. If something is Obama related, it must be wrong and vice versa. When did so many people lose the ability to think freely for themselves? There is both good and bad everywhere, in every situation, in every obstacle facing us all everyday. The phrase "we are all in this together" does not apply to us as Americans any more and that is truley a sad thing.
Perhaps prices are rising due to the 2.9billion barrels of surplus sitting out on the oceans in ships, while 33% of US oil rigs have been packed up....wait till the economy gets crankin' folks will be dying for one of GM's new fuel efficient vehicles.
Yeah, the Saudi King needs a way to pay for that Bling he gave Obama

Ok, so you're not a liberal. I fail to see how this changes the point. First it was "we went to war for oil", and now its Bush/Cheney/Saudi's colluding to keep the oil off the market to enrich themselves. You have no basis in fact to back this up. Once again, this ideology is a sham, liberal or not.
