If you don't want to be called out (aka "ambushed"), then don't make insulting stories up about people who host national TV shows.
Pretty simple.
And the OP links to a story showing that he didnt lie, and that he apologized after being told that he said that Walters went to him. The audio and video tapes show that he NEVER said that, quite the contrary, he said that he went over to them.
If you dont want to be ambushed, you need to be prepared for those on tv shows to lie about what you said? Give it a break because you obviously didnt watch the OP link either.

Oh my God if I said it was partly cloudy today but it was mostly sunny would you call me a liar? Some people can't distinguish between a lie and a misunderstanding. Anyway to argue about something like this just shows how really empty some partisans are.

Why did he admit to lying in the original episode, then? And apologize?
Ever since the ladies ambushed Beck on their show many have taken their story that he was a liar. Here I have an investigative reporter who says they were the liars and he has all the proof to prove that they were the liars along with ABC, their network.
Breitbart is a conservative commentator, anything said by him on this subject lacks credibility because he's always going to side with Beck, no matter what the issue.
That being said, The View is a moronic show for moronic people.

I watched the link. The source is dubious, at best, and propagandizing at worst.
He shouldn't have lied and then apologized if he had nothing for which to apologize.
Live and learn. It was cute when O'Reilly had to explain to Beck the definition of the word "populism".
what was this 2 weeks or more ago? no one really cared then, no one cares now.
