Didn't read the thread and don't care about lefty or righty here but to pretend like the average high school grad will make as much as the average college grad is nonsense..Some will but not on average. The below link has a great chart..

Fast Facts

"Measured in constant 2006 dollars, median earnings for young adults ages 25–34 who worked full time throughout a full year increased as education level increased for each year shown between 1995 and 2006. This pattern held for male, female, White, Black, Hispanic, and Asian subgroups.

The earnings difference between those with at least a bachelor's degree and those with less education increased between the longer period of 1980 and 2006. However, between 2000 and 2006, there was generally no measurable change in the earnings difference between these groups. For example, in 1980, young adults with a bachelor’s degree or higher earned $14,600 more than those who did not earn a high school diploma or its equivalent. In 2000, this difference increased to $23,400 and was $23,000 in 2006. "

(and they did!)

This chunk of uneducated voters has been voting in a huge bloc far longer than have been the "ghetto voters" you're thinking of (who are a much smaller group by the way); the Republicans depended on them and played them like a pinball machine 1995-2008, but lost control of them this go-round.

But the "ghetto voters" came out in full force to vote for Obama....more than ever.

Also, the people you're calling "uneducated" that vote republican are more than likely high school graduates that work blue collar jobs are are productive members of society. The average uneducated liberal voter is probably a high school dropout with a criminal record, living off of Section 8/welfare/SSI and contributing nothing to society.

OUCH! Talk about stereotypes!
This thread was started to attack liberals because "they put education on a pedestal and all those who are not college educated are mocked/stereotyped". Now you are contradicting yourself by saying that "uneducated" Dems are high school dropouts and not good for society. Make up your mind!! If you are defending people without a formal higher education you are defending both Republicans and Democrats. Pick your poison!
FYI, I think formal education is a great thing and does help people broaden their horizons. However, I don't think that makes college graduates any smarter than non-college grads.

The message of "Victimhood" that breeds resentment, anger, and targeted animosity has the same purpose and the same effect whether it is coming from Jessie Jackson to black youth or from Rush Limbaugh to white males. And the message is simply this; "THEY don't respect you. THEY will take advantage of you. You can't trust THEM. THEY get special privileges that you don't get. You will never get a fair break from THEM." And some people...from both targeted groups....buy into these messages of "victimhood" because it makes things so simple. By buying into victimhood you give up responsibility for your own choices, your own life...no point in making the effort to learn, to understand, to grow as a human being because it is all THEIR fault and their is nothing YOU can do about it. The saddest thing is that people who buy into the victimhood message do not realize that the people who are REALLY making them a victim are those who are preaching this message to them and NOT the mysterious "THEY" about whom they are being warned.

That's condemning their followers to death.
