Well, they always said the Saudi Family had a close relationship with the Bushes. I didn't know it was that close.

Geesh, some people just have to police the area, reminds me of the ones that had to be hall monitors in third grade. Just sayin'.

I'm not.

The OP made a statement that implied that Obama was causing long-term damage. My response, which I elaborated upon when I responded to you, is that Obama is not solely to blame; offshoring/outsourcing and the shift of formerly US-based manufacturing to overseas locations have been ongoing for decades.

In any event, Obama didn't start it. I don't think he can stop it. Other men preceding Obama couldn't stop it - the OP's comment about "sending a boy to do a man's job" is unfounded. After all, it is private corporation's perogative regarding these issues. It is very well possible that Microsoft was already planning on offshoring these jobs. Who knows? I don't.

Personally, I think the ultimate responsibility lies with the consumer. Our demand for cheap goods has forced companies to make unfortunate decisions because they cannot survive with the untenable predicament of low cost goods coupled with high wages - the solution is middle ground with fair price and fair wages. Of course, the definition of fair is a subject for a lengthy discussion itself...
