This is the problem with many pro-lifers. They want abortion to go away without wanting to do anything to reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies and, thus, the need for abortions in the first place.

I'm pro-life and don't particularly care if we have to hand the pill out like candy.

Anyone who doesn't believe that birth control will be (is?) the next target of the anti-abortion gangs is living in denial. We will soon be hearing that sperm and ova are baby seeds and killing them is murdering babies. But this is nothing new. Those who push the anti-abortion movement the most have always opposed birth control.

Wrong. I would love to see an end to fetal murder, but also strongly support birth control methods.

Well, I think you should give Maddow her props for this story - but, other than that, I agree with both of you that this is ridiculous.

Yup. There are actually quite a few of us, I think.

I don't know nor have I ever heard of ANYONE who didn't wish that abortions would cease to exist.

And I would love to see anyone give a solution that would end abortions....

without using the word "if".

But calling the women murders will definitely set your cause back...thankfully.

Then you aren't among those who have historically pushed the anti-abortion movement. This was the case in the 60's and 70's, this is the case now. Primary pusher -- The Roman Catholic Church.

"Fetal murder" ended with Roe, basically. You can rest easy now.
