I am a surgeon. I dont have time to do research on this between sewing peoples faces back on after a tragic event. Sorry. And, Yes, it is learned, or a choice. Thats what RESEARCH has found. Not to say that there havent been opposite findings. Like I said a few posts ago, depends on what you want to believe. We could argue both ways. As for what medical school I went to, that is not important. This is my opinion on my belief of research. Not the out spoken opinion of my school's....

I just talked to a friend, who works in the GLBT center from one of the backward states(so I thought). He said that a major bank is moving to their state. In order to seal the deal, this state had to change their discrimination laws for them to move. This bank is from a progressive state. The workers spoke up about their laws. The powers-to-be talk to the powers-to-be and they are in the process of passing the anti-gay discrimination bill for the whole state. Members who have read my posts know I'm for this. My question is... Does it take a corporation to make a change, in the process anger the Christians at the same time?

I think it was just a "business case". I know many people are against discrimination, in all forms. Unfortunately, for many politicians, they are taking a VERY real risk at alienating their constituents when taking "sides" on these types of issues. So when they can come back and say the decision brought revenue, and jobs to the state, they have an element of practicality that they can stand on.
i.e. I think many people want this, but they just need an "excuse" to make it happen. It's hard for anyone to disagree with a politician helping to create jobs and tax dollars.

Here's the REAL deal. Having sex with the same sex seems to be the only sin that people like to flaunt. I don't see many bank robbers running around saying "if I don't rob banks I will be living a lie". They tend to do what is normal, run and hide.
How exactly do they "flaunt" it?? Lemme guess... if a man says "I had dinner with my boyfriend last night", he must be FLAUNTING his homosexuality - right?? Just like how when a man talks about eating with his wife, he's "flaunting" his heterosexuality. Could you imagine not ever mentioning your significant other, social life/where you hang out, groups you belong to, and everything else that's connected to one's sexual orientation?
It's not as though they have sex in the streets, or even talk about sex very often... that's usually just an obsession of people like you. Not sure why I'm bothering to explain this to you, since you'll just come back with another lame cop-out response - like "typical liberals", or "God thinks it's a sin, and I'm incapable of thinking for myself".
