Sure, radio does not and cannot force anyone to commit violent acts but. If the anger is already there in the recepient do you not agree that hate radio has the capabilities of pushing someone over the edge with violent outcome?
Can't just about anything drive someone who already has anger and hatred over the edge? Get cut off driving, have a bad day at work, get fired, lose a job, have a fight with their spouse.
People snap from different reasons. Instead of eliminating every possible "trigger", maybe it would be smarter to try to recognize the characteristics of those who look like they'll snap and try to get them help.
Either that or start pumping valium into our drinking water
When are we going to do something about all the Nazis and racist that have taken over the AM band of the radio? It is no wonder we are seeing racist attacks and abortion doctors being murdered when you have people on the radio like Hannity, Limbaugh, Savage, Gallager and the like on there all the time spewing hate at certain segments of the country and the President. It is time to start bringing back some balance on the radio by reimposing the Fairness Doctrine.
Just today some racist attacked the Halocaust Museum because he doesn't like the Jews. Immigrants have been attacked, blacks have been attacked, abortion docs killed in church and at home and there is little doubt in my mind that much of this is encouraged by talk radio and its venomous right wing extreme host.
Probably about the same time that our country does something about the hateful socilaist marxists that have taken over the government. It is time to bring the constitution back to being followed and stop all of the affirmative action crap and guess what...the fairness doctrine is against the constitution, but I camn see that you don't care about that as long as you can hate.
