No, he's the King of the World. He's the Anointed One. He's the Messiah.

What exactly are you "just sayin?" I see no point being made. So what if he wasn't president last year? Does becoming president change one's views on Isreal? Does becoming president erase all memory of a trip one makes to Isreal?

Hey, AeroDude, let me clue you in on something...

*looks both ways*

...shhhh...don't let this get out...

OBAMA IS STILL PRESIDENT AND WILL BE SO FOR AT LEAST 3 1/2 MORE YEARS.

Billy Graham hasn't visited Reno. Why does Billy Graham hate we Renoites? What message is Billy Graham sending in bypassing Reno?

Silliness beyond belief, I'm just sayin.

I do see how rude and disrespectful obama is towards the office of the president and to sit on the phone with his shoes on his desk is just embarressing! What an example!
Could the desperate pathetic insane posters on this forum perhaps stick to the topic at hand & NOT feel the need to interject w/yet another non-issue? Thanks ever so.

All say one thing and vote for something or someone who opposes what each voter says. Talk the talk but don't walk the walk. This is not a "put down" of either religious belief, but rather, is a question I have always wanted to ask in a public forum.
Thank you for the opportunity to ask.
Probably because Israel was founded from the Zionist movement of secular and non-religious Jews who saw Israel as having the potential of being a Utopian nation of Jewish Nationalist with a system called, "Mutualism"

Quote:
Herzl envisioned a Jewish state which combined both a modern Jewish culture with the best of the European heritage.

He did not envision the Jewish inhabitants of the state being religious, but there is much respect for religion in the public sphere. Many languages are spoken—Hebrew is not the main tongue.

He called this mixed economic model "Mutualism", a term derived from French utopian socialist thinking.
Quote:
Both the first and second waves of migrants were mainly Orthodox Jews, but those in the Second Aliyah included socialist pioneers who established the kibbutz movement.

Theodor Herzl - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quote:
The kibbutz is a form of communal living that combines socialism and Zionism. Kibbutzim began as utopian communities and have gradually embraced a more "scientific" socialist approach.

Israel has a long history of Liberalism and in fact was founded upon secular liberalism to be modeled in a socialist manner.

I would ask, why is it today that so many people from the right in America are such strong supporters of a state founded upon liberal tenets? I could understand why American evangelicals would support religious Jews and maybe even secular Jews, but it seems people can not distinguish between the Jewish state and the Jewish people. After all, Eretz Yisrael was to be given to the Jewish people by God, not created by man, a manner of thinking held by many Haredi or Chareidi Jews, or as some describe them as Ultra-Orthodox Jews. Many Orthodox Jews of this sect reject the existence of the nation of Israel created by man and some have even called it blaspheme.

Interesting to see a Rabbi in condemnation of a more Liberal President, when the point of the religious right in America is to have Jews return to Israel so they can then either convert to Christianity or burn in hell.

Palestinians keep making and then breaking treaties by lobbing rockets into Israel. You are correct. No meaningful dialogue can take place in a climate of lies and dishonesty.
