I actually have very good eyesight, so no problem making out the tattoo. Unfortunately, anti-capitalism is not associated solely with socialism. And the "socialism" that is espoused by these people has more to do with authoritarianism than it does socialism.

It's hard to navigate this quagmire of political ideology, because so much depends on the explanation for the position, rather than the position itself. Don't you think?

You're confusing (maybe willfully) what left and right means in politics. Right can be an entirely different ideology in two different states. The same can go for left, liberal and conservative. The left may not say Aryan nation but they most certainly feel they are the only ones with the best ideas and any opposition should be silenced.

You're reaching. Aryan nation and the left are not in step together, and you know it. As for silencing the opposition, well, there are people of all persuasions who think their opinions are the most comprehensive and thought-out, and who would prefer not to listen to the opposition. Not on this forum, of course. People who come to forums like this only for the purpose of sharing ideas and communicating with the opposition, right?

You're confusing socialism and fascism (as is Rush who first had this idea). The reason the shooter hated neoconservatives like Bush was not because he was a liberal, but that that neocons believe in preserving Israel as a Jewish state. Since the shooter was a white supremacist above all, he and other Aryan Nation types are unable to stomach this concept.

Exactly. I already said it in this thread. The right/left dichotomy doesn't apply. It's obsolete in his worldview. In his worldview, there are only two parties, the Jewish and the White. Just read some of his book, "Kill the Best Gentiles!".

Nazism is a ideology all it's own. It had it's fascist tendencies but in a very perverse way.

Speaking of Nazis and fascism, that's why the skinhead had that anti-capitalist tattoo. Anti-capitalism was a key component of nazism (as was anti-communism, btw).
