Chelsea wasn't alone...Amy Carter was ridiculed as well. The self-righteous indignation of some posters doesn't correlate well with supporting Jabba the Rush, who has earned a living by being coarse, mendacious and generally uncivil for years. For Palin to slap at Obama when he had, quite rightly, stated that her children specifically should be off limits during the campaign shows either how little attention Sarah pays to topics that aren't about her, or how utterly lacking in class and graciousness she is. Or both. What's scary is that some people actually voted for such a vapid twit
to be next in line to the president. God help us all.

Yes, God help us all and God save Obama. To think that people would give Biden their vote. I agree with you for a change. He certainly is a vapid twit, and extremely scary that he is next in line.

Palin is a political shark - she's not real smart, but she has killer instincts. She will do whatever she thinks it will take to win, including exploiting her unmarried, pregnant daughter, who is now an unmarried single mom preaching abstinence - whether she wants to or not.

Auwhh shucks! Ain't that sweet?

Plenty enough pimpin' the kids off on your side too.

Let's try Letterman's jokes using Michelle and Sasha. Not so funny anymore is it?

This is why the left never stays in power for more than two years at a time. A new generation comes of age not knowing what it's like to have the entire government run by liberals. They try it as an alternative to those horrible neo-cons for whom their parents vote. Then they find out first hand what liberalism will cost them in terms of personal and financial freedom and come running back.

The GOP is just ridiculous. Always outraged over something, sooooooo offended. Please, just give it a rest. In case you haven't noticed, it's not working!
It seems they get MORE insane by the moment, this is just one more example. Palin ALL but insinuated that David Letterman had sexual interest in a minor. Which has never been true of him, never been said about him on the other hand, Palin does have a daughter who got pregnant at 17 so who is the real joke on.

Palin once again is a WHACK job. I do hope the Repubs put her up to run for president next time, what a joke and a cake walk for Obama.

All the people in line after Obama is a scary thought....Biden, Pelosi...I guess new elections would be better, but first we have to wait another year before campagning will start....Let's see if Obama will start to campaign early and what he is going to see...that will be funny to watch.

I can't wait to see all his flip flops after another and how many times he attacked Bush while deciding the same things...

Every one who agrees that Palin's kids are allowed to be attacked and are stating how sad it is that she at 17 years old has a baby, has to realize what a support she is getting from her family. At least when the baby is older and let's say 20 years old her mommy and daddy are like 37 years old....Lettermans son when he is 20 will have a daddy who is 80! Guess who will be more happy to walk around and do fun things...

Letterman should wear a shirt stating he is am grumpy guy who is so jealous and has nothing else to say than get after beautiful succesful people...only that way he can get people to watch him...what a sad thing.

I agree.

Damn those minorites of voters who keep overriding the will of the majority at the voting booth.

You go girl, Palin showed how she can handle her self and I hope Letterman's ratings will drop so he will find out what he really did.

Where is the out cry for him being fired...like with Imus...well Rep. are different we just want the ratings to take care of it!

If you had watched Davids monologue you would have seen her comments are outlandish. Her and Chany need to go find a cave to live in and leave the rest of us alone.

No one should even interview either of these morans
