Of course it is only hate when pointed at your side, comedy when at the other.

Pitiful.
What a gentleman Obama was here, and is. Why cant Sarah Palin be anywhere near as classy?

Just not naturally in her I guess.

Instead she has to lie, lie, lie as the OP points out (thanks OP! ) and manipulate her sheep-flock.
"Let me be as clear as possible," Obama said. "I think people's families are off-limits, and people's children are especially off-limits. This shouldn't be part of our politics. It has no relevance to Gov. Palin's performance as governor or her potential performance as a vice president."

Obama said reporters should "back off these kinds of stories" and noted that he was born to an 18-year-old mother.

"How a family deals with issues and teenage children, that shouldn't be the topic of our politics, and I hope that anybody who is supporting me understands that's off-limits."
I'd be milking the Letterman thing for all it's worth too, if I were Palin. Trashy soap opera resonates with the Palinites.

But, seriously folks, do you really consider this whining cry baby for anything other position than Avon lady???? (my apology to Avon ladies who HAVE brains and a backbone)

Shouldn't Palin quit wasting Alask's taxes and quit campaigning????Especially since it consists of attending ballgames and whining????
If only Obama could heed your advice.

1. his ratings went up

2. only righties place so much emphasis on what a celebrity says. They are so starstruck that they hang on every word of great celebrities like Jon Voight!

3. fire him over Palin and it will backlash on Palin.....emphasising how she JUST CAN'T TAKE THE heat from a COMEDIAN!!!

[Mod edit]

I mean...there isnt a 10page thread or 12 on Limbaugh right now.

You've been bowling with Obama lately?

And your reading comprehension continues to astound! No one said that Obama was the source of these comments (as much as you would love that statement). The arguement is with Letterman and his classless remarks. You can try to redirect it all you want, just shows your agenda here.

What is she lying about? That the media is attacking her family? That's not a lie. She said Obama said that the family should be off limits. She didnt say Obama attacked her family.

I dont see what you're going for here.

Clearly I was referring to your post since I did quote it. The rest of your comment is juvenile drivel so I won't respond to it.

Anybody that runs out into the middle of the public and comes off as a dingbat just screams to be made fun of.

Palin, a parting gift to me from the GOP, is a pure delight ... I could easily make fun of her all day long.

I think that if she came off seriously, making fun of her would be a little more difficult. But she just walks right into it.

Most serious politicians would blow all of this off. Serious politicians rise above the insidious comedians. But I find it hard to imagine that Palin could be serious about anything.

All politicians, left and right, open themselves up to be the butt of the joke the minute they run for office.

Palin, in this case, needs to grow some thicker skin.
