Pride parade is very much a part of that freedom of speech and expression, yet you don't feel comfortable with the idea and take it for what it is.

I voted yes, that it would be viewed as hateful. But I personally feel that if gays can have pride parades, so can straights. It's a two way street.

I wouldn't consider it hateful or homophobic, but if were held on the same day as a gay pride event, it would come across to me as mean-spirited and bullying.

The last straight pride event that was attempted was a total flop, so I think it would probably be a waste of your time.

That's probably the dumbest thing you could possibly say.

Any time I see your name, I get ready to laugh at the newest moronic thing that you type. You've yet to type a single argument in any thread that was even remotely intelligent or well thought out.

A white pride parade would definitely not go over well in this country, it would basically be a Klan march. Sorry, but it wouldn't be cool. You can have an Irish pride parade, but not a White Pride. Seriously, do you live under a rock? Have you ever been in a Cosmopolitan city?

Please, for your sake, go back to school and pay attention. You really need an education.
that post didn't last long.

I know. I wish it had been a public poll.

This is what people are talking about, I think, when they say that certain groups are getting "special treatment".

I'm gay. If anyone wants help setting up a straight pride parade, let me know. I believe in equality.

Good point. If we're proud to be straight, then why not have Straight Parades?
