To fund terrorists. To subjugate women. Kill homosexuals. Kill apostates. Kill Jews. Death to America. Spread Shia. Oppress and limit the rights of its citizens.

I think the people did not get the memo that change is not possible.

Get a new line. That meds thing is overused.

You do seem familiar with them, so why don't you take your own advice?

Saying it's hypocritical for us, the only country that nuked others, to try and decide who should and shouldn't have nukes is not advocating an arms race. If it were up to me, every last nuke would be dismantled and none would ever be allowed to be built again.

So save your "gotchas" for someone more on par with your own level of "critical" thinking.

"OH THEY ARE EVIL!" Yeah, we turned them against us with our interference. We've been doing this since WWII - waltzing around the globe, telling people how to run their countries. And then we WONDER why they turn fundie on us? LOLOL. Wake up.
Try reading a little history, because it is very obvious that you have no clue what you are talking about. The US did not put the Shah of Iran into power.

Thirty years later, democratic and progressive forces are finally starting to gain influence again. Iran has one of the most vibrant and engaged youth population in the world, and as their numbers grow they've been slowly reducing the power of the fundamentalist, reactionary facets of society. They still have a long way to go, but for that reason alone a progressive reformer is exactly who we want elected. Someone we can work with to further marginalize the Iranian hard-liners...

The neocons are just panicking because they're afraid of a repeat of Lebanon. They're terrified that Obama will make more progress with words than Bush did with two wars. They should be, because it shows just how badly they've failed....

...And Jimmy Carter screwed it all up by deposing the US friendly regime, and making possible the installation of the most anti American regime in history with the power grab of Ayatollah Kohmeni.

Nobody ever claimed the people were very bright. After all, look at who they elected in the US in 2008. A better example of the stupidity of the masses cannot be found.

Beck wrote a song for you Loser.
That's funny, because there are thousands of Jews living in Iran, with very little overt discrimination. In fact, a parliament member is a Jew (he also admins a hospital in Tehran, with mainly Muslim patients), and he says he is much more concerned about Iranian womens rights than those of Jews in Iran.

Are there problems in Iran? Certainly. Is Iran as some of you would paint it? No. And if it's so bad there, why do some idiots seem to want it to stay that way?

I'll ignore the loser insult, because it's middle-school stuff. Something I am sure you are quite familiar with.

It doesn't matter if Iran applies to become the

It isn't about Iran. It is about the need to manufacture
a crisis to justify our hatred and paranoia.
Think Progress Ľ Neocons Claim Iranian Elections Don’t Matter
I am a libertarian, but I will bite.

Iran is run by the religious leaders, the president is nothing but a face elected by the people to speak for the religious leaders that are in control.
