You gotta admit that SC Republicans are special. Last week's statement by a GOP operative that an escaped gorilla from the zoo was 'one of Michelle's ancestors' is only one example of their low humor.
The president is gonna tax aspirins because they are white and they work? Hee Hee! That one will be on Rush next.
South Carolina is one of the least enlightened, most uneducated states in this country. Lindsay Graham is the perfect example, I think he is gay and sure sounds like it, gay hillbillies are indeed amusing.

hmm I didn't know apes were Princeton Law scholars like Michelle and the First lady of the Unites States whereas this guy made it by becoming a Republican activist in South Carolina.
Seriously how difficult could that have been? They have zoos in South Carolina? Uncle hank's backyard full of pigs, cows & dogs doesn't count!

That's where most of them had their first love affair tho' I'd say.
Reminds me of the joke about the three republicans walking along a dirt road near Clemson, when they came upon a sow who had tried to get under a fence and got stuck with her head under the wire. She squealed and wiggled her behind, trying to get loose.
"Boy", thought Karl Rove. " I wish that was Ann Coulter".
"Gosh", thought Lindsay Graham. "If only that was Michelle Malkin".
"Damn!" said Mark Sanford to himself. "I sure wish it was dark!"

Wow! Great job at stereotyping. Were you one of those bullies in school that picked on kids that were different (you know, the ones that cause kids to commit suicide)?

If I'm not mistaken, aren't Democrats the ones who want evolution taught in school? Aren't they the ones who reject Creation? If that is the case, then why are they upset about a factual statement? Michelle, you, me, every human has primate anscestors. The GOP finally agrees to your stance on evolution and you beat them up! Go figure!

That's why the guy is apologizing now, because he was talking about evolution. Sure.
COLUMBIA, S.C. - A former chairman of the South Carolina Election Commission has apologized after his posting on Facebook suggested a gorilla that escaped form a Columbia zoo was an ancestor of first lady Michelle Obama.
Minutes after the gorilla’s escape was reported Friday, Rusty DePass posted: "I’m sure it’s just one of Michelle’s ancestors — probably harmless."
The comment has since been deleted, but DePass confirmed to WIS-TV that he made it, apologizing and saying it was a joke about statements Obama has made about evolution. DePass is a former chairman of the Richland County Republican Party. He didn’t respond to a phone message Saturday from The Associated Press.
