If the nation ISN'T being given the ability to choose it's own leaders, should he just be silent about it or should he speak out?

What about the manipulation inside of Iran instead of outside manipulation by us? You speak out against us supposedly manipulating, but what if it is from the inside? Silent about that?
I think for a president to accuse leaders of a sovereign nation of rigging an election without solid evidence is very risky and unprofessional.

As usual, he said what needs to be said now - about the violence. If it turns out to be rigged, then perhaps there's more to be said.

Again, though, I find it interesting how we are outraged at other countries getting nukes yet we have nukes. We are outraged at other countries' rigged elections yet we do not acknowledge our own. It's all politics, I realize. Just seems like a double standard.

The point of my post seems to have flown right over your thick head. Read it again, this time for comprehension.
Since I have shown that your point (stolen election) is false and therefore invalid, your point is pointless.

The opposition to Ahmadinijead do not want to appear as if they are taking their cues from the US. Obama is smart enough to realize this.

But don't let that deter you exaggerated internet characactures from setting up no-win arguments.

You all can't really believe that if Obama had been more threatening (and possibly started a war of words over this), that it would change anything? Of course you know that it wouldn't - you just like to ***** about Obama, 24/7. It's the focal point of your lives, apparently. So much so that you will set up "gotcha" arguments until the cows come home.

Obama has the chance of a lifetime to step in and do something about the middle east and screwed it up.

If you want to fix the middle east all you need to do is get the people of Iran on our side and we wont have to worry about nukes and the middle east for a long time to come.

He lost a golden opportunity.

He did coward out.

Then stupid Joe Biden turns around and says he believes the election had some major problems.

Well Joe, tell your boss the dumbass one that so he will know.

Mark it down, another Obama failure!!!

Hot Air » Blog Archive » Lieberman: We should “loudly and clearly” stand with the people of Iran

It’s his moronic belief that “engagement” will get the mullahs to give up nukes that leads him to soft-pedal his criticism of their brutality.
Succinct and exactly to the point.
