When you study history and contrast places such as the 19th and 20th century U.S. with the Soviet Union, West Berlin with East Berlin, South Korea with North Korea, as well as the tremendous progress of places such as Singapore and Hong Kong compared to places like Cuba, you have to start questioning the motives of socialists/"liberals". The more I learn, the more convinced I get that the socialists who actually understand the effects of their own ideology are haters of mankind, who seek destruction for the sake of destruction. Those monsters are the ones who the more ignorant socialists who just vote for short-term "feel good" solutions are supporting.

He's been described as conservative in the media (of course, that was a few times, compared to the image they want to present for him).

He's pro-corporate, anti-worker.

He believes in the same doctrine as Bush:

Government can trample the Bill Of Rights without showing probable cause.

That's a textbook modern Conservative, possibly even a Neo-Con.

You're confusing socialism with communism. Two different animals.

BTW Singapore is a socialist nation..

About 4,500,000 so far and counting. That feat matches Jimmy Carter.

How about Bolivia?

It was run by radical capitalists until the last election?

Same with Peru.

How about Scandanavia?

What system do they use.

And tell me about 19th Century USA?

How did the capitalists of the day use the frontier?

You'd think a guy named Erik Martinsen would know something so simple.

Actually I also meant to ask if people regret nominating him as well.

Thinking back, it still wouldnt make a difference. I liked Kucinich but it came down to getting votes. And Obama gradually became the big ticket.

Even Obama screw ups just made him a better candidate, strange really.
