Now for something completely different...

NY man charged with impersonating dead mother

By TOM HAYS, AP

Thu Jun 18, 1:07 AM EDT

Irene Prusik has been dead for six years. But in April, someone showed up at the Department of Motor Vehicles in Brooklyn to renew her driver's license. The explanation given by prosecutors rivals the Hitchcock classic "Psycho": It was her son, in drag.

I just saw that on the news - and immediately thought, when I saw the guy, that it wasn't a woman, but a man. I hadn't heard why this "woman" was a newsmaker yet.

Gotta admit, he's pretty creative. Many thieves are.

You have to admire his attention to detail. He even painted his nails.

True - and he even wore those old-lady sunglasses that fit over your real glasses. I guess that was so he didn't have to deal with too much makeup!
