Interesting....does Red Lobster make the food in some central location and send it off to the individual restaurants? Or does an entirely different company make it?

"most" of their food is made by a third party.

Olive Garden's slogan is - "When you're here .... you're family".

So the restaurant that is into "family values" has no issues with Bristol Palin having unwed teenage sex and making babies, and is instead more concerned about a professional comedian who tells jokes about it?

Relax, it's a corporate slogan, not a belief system.

Just a slogan, and a good one, because they can make a lot more money from families than from just a few individuals.

Use of the word "family" in their ads is intended to imply they believe in "family values".

They are trying to get people into their restaurants by invoking a word that most people hold dear to their hearts, everything the word represents.

And I'm pretty certain that the Palin Family is not a very good example of the typical set of "family values" that most families strive for.
