I think a lot depends on the opinion polls. Or like you said, see what why the wind blows and then act like he was on the winning side all along.

Obama is probably too cute by half. He can pretend to be a Christian one day, the next he pretends to be Muslim to the Arab nations, he can be black one day, talk about his white grandmother the next. He can promote Communist economics but bail out greedy Capitalists at the same time.

Meanwhile these events unfold and he's not capable of taking a strong stance.
Like it or not but Obama can say a whole bunch of things but democracy in Iran must come from Iran. Even if Obama states strongly and clearly that he supports democracy in Iran and the pro-democracy groups, the opposition isn't going to give up and say, "Oh, Obama says it so it must be true...!!" What's next...Kim Jong Il weighing-in on our democracy?

OK, it's clear now that Obama has blinked and, in so many word, has seen the "error of his ways". His responses today are much more stronger than they were originally, signaling a policy change and probalby some political pressure.

He still has to answer why he took the incorrect path originally, I have a feeling it will haunt him when he runs for re-election, but he is close to the response (not quite their, but close to) that is required from a world power that deems itself as promoting human rights, justice, and freedom.

So it is time to support a Muslim who is ready to die for Martyrdom and his cause. Doesn't that make him a fanatic? Hmmmm now that along with his resume and history doesn't make him a potential terrorist with a nuke? WTF?
Iran: 99 percent of candidates for mullahs' presidential election sham eliminated - National Council of Resistance of Iran - Foreign Affairs Committee
NCRI - The Iranian regime’s Council of Guardians rejected the application of 471 candidates for the so-called presidential election, approving only four. This once again displays the true face of the elections under the clerical rule which is nothing but a ridiculous show aimed at consolidating the state of ruling factions within the regime.

More than 99 percent of candidates were eliminated while they all had pledged their full allegiance to the Velayat-e Faqih (absolute rule of the clergy) system in writing. Many of them have been involved in crimes committed by the regime over the past 30 years.

So what do we say when we support Mousavi and hail his election as Democracy in action when he continues down the same path building a nuke and threatening Israel. What do we say then? Talk about a set up.

God you're ill informed. Like Iranians are looking for support from Obama & the US? Our jobs is to make the world a better place to live? Since we're doing such a bang up job in Iraq & Afghanistan! You pathetic hatred for Obama is is clouding your judgement, that's if you have any at all besides despising the President. So if that is the case & it seems to be because all you do is bash Obama, I'll leave it at childish rhetoric on your part.
Have a nice day!
