Gosh, where did you people find this idiot anyway?
Mir-Hossein Musavi, mullahs’ former Prime Minister in 1980s, was one of the high ranking officials of the regime during the eight-year Iran-Iraq war. He was responsible for the death of a million Iranian youth in the war and played a key role in export of terrorism and execution of political prisoners including the massacre of 30,000 prisoners in summer of 1988.

yeah why didnt Obama jump at chance to support this clown and make world a better place.

Faster, Please! » Sunday Morning in Iran, A Letter from Mousavi’s Office

Hmmm. A purported letter from Mousavi to obama;

Quote:
It is a specially grave insult for those who are now fighting for democracy and freedom, and an unwarranted gift and even praise for Mr. Khamenei, whose security forces are now killing peaceful Iranians in the streets of every major city in the country.

Your statement misled the people of the world. It was no doubt inspired by your hope for dialogue with this regime, but you cannot possibly believe in promises from a regime that lies to its own people and then kills them when they demand the promises be kept.
He's busy, can't you see that?

To dictators, tyrants, thieves and thugs? Not to mention murderous, power-hungry nuts like the mullahs and ahmedinejad .

He should be showing them respect and deference?

Oh, delu. This is a sad day - you are really going to spread the propaganda of the Iranian mullahs and killers?

Why do you think obama came out today with another statement? He was basically forced to tell everyone exactly whose side he is on - no one could tell based on his previous silence and weak statement.

A COMPLETELY unvetted source. So-and-so receives what "purports to be" a letter from Mousavi to Obama.

Get real.

He wasn't "forced" to do anything. He said little before the violence erupted because to say anything forceful would have been ammunition for the regime. Everybody with any sense whatsoever of Iranian/American history knows this. Not to mention the fact that every expert on Iran has stated that Obama has done exactly the right thing.
