The only song above that doesn't mention god is the Star Spangled banner, and since not everyone in this country believes in a god, I'm gonna go with that one.

Plus, I like the way it sounds
The fourth stanza of the Star Spangled Banner:
O! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: 'In God is our trust.'
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave![10]

Yes, but the fourth stanza is rarely (if ever) sung at events. Basically every 'America' song has a mention of god in it, but as far as the part that is commonly sung I'd rather it didn't mention it.

Your right JetJockey....I was just curious and looked it up after your post. I don't think most people knew there were more than one verse...lol.
You have no idea how good our national anthem sounds until you travel to a foreign country (or fight in one) and come home to the USA.
I guess you have to be patriotic to like it.
Nobody sang this song like Whitney Houston did for the Super Bowl in 1991.
It's simply the best version I have ever heard sung in my life.
I get choked up and every time I hear it.
I certainly agree about this one being one of the best times a single person sung the National Anthem although I have heard others that did it more honest. I mean not so much wandering around etc.
i prefer a good band like the old Sousa Band or a good military band. Let me suggest this solo as one of the best I have ever heard for how it was done.
