A lawsuit in federal court in Massachusetts alleges that Hasselbeck lifted "word for word" content from a book on celiac disease written by a self-published author on Cape Cod.

Hasselbeck's book, "The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide" has appeared over the last month in several best-selling lists.

I never understood why she was chosen to be on The View. If they wanted a young conservative, was she really the best they could come up with?

I don't consider her a conservative, but she was needed to pretty up the hags on the show. liberal women aren't known for being too attractive.

I don't know who Jody is, but Rosie O'Donnell has a long list of credits to her name. What had Hasselbeck done before she was on The View? She was on Survivor - and she wasn't even one of the finalists!
