"To Tell The Truth":Do You Read Just Thread Titles Or Also The Opening Posters Thread Before You Respond?
Simple question, many people seem to just read the title and jump into the thread, without reading the full opening poster's thread. Are you "guilty of this or do you read the full thread starter. Also do you read the ENTIRE thread(all pages) before responding with your post or do you just "put in your opinion? I always read the title and opening post but I sometimes do not read the whole thread before I respond and I guess we should but some threads have too many pages to go through.

If a question is posed in the title, I can sometimes be bad about not even reading through the OP. Otherwise, I do always read the OP. If I start posting on a thread midway through, I rarely read through all the posts, except when I quote someone and respond to that post. In that case, it may be an off-topic comment.
I guess I'm going to have to take my posting more seriously.  |
