Why the outrage about Mediamatters? Their intentions are pretty clearly stated on their website. See:

Quote:
Media Matters posts rapid-response items as well as longer research and analytic reports documenting conservative misinformation throughout the media.
If this upsets conservatives, perhaps they should not spread misinformation. I encourage you to start your own watchdog site to document liberal misinformation.

Wow, another MSNBC talking head not being partisan. Who'd a thunk it?

Oh, you mean the comedy channel that lies to its viewers--labeling wayward Republicans as Democrats. Of course, it probably works--given the average educational level of the FOX viewer.

Too big a job. MM has only to watch one news channel, a few magazines and a newspaper or two. I don't think there are database systems robust enough to store all the left-wing misinformation spewed by every other media outlet in the country.

Besides, if you want proof of liberal misinformation, all you need to do is turn on Air America and wait for the commercial to end.

Oh, wait - they don't have any advertisers...

Typo=misinformation

Grasping at straws are we? By the way, I remember MSNBC making a similar Typo:

Don't you get it? It's not a typo when Fox does it, but when CNN puts a giant black X across Dick Cheney, it's merely a technical error.

Duh!

That happened once. With Fox, not only has it happened multiple times, someone had to deliberately type in the letter 'D'.
