Default House Vote on "Cap and Trade" (Energy Bill) Friday. Senate to vote on "Card Check" Don't let them pass!

The House is planning a vote on "Cap and Trade", also known as "Cap and Tax" (the energy bill) on Friday. This is a sort of "stealth" move, as they have the country focused on health care this week, while their agenda is to pass this massive tax bill while nobody is paying attention.

As it stands right now, this could pass. We cannot allow this to happen. This bill will cost every American home an increase of hundreds of dollars per month, it is estimated, because of all the new taxes that will be passed on to the consumer.

If you do not know what this is about, and I have read that many Americans still have no idea, you need to find out fast. It simply must be stopped. No Americans can afford this massive increase in cost of their energy.

Not only energy is affected. This will even affect food prices, because every industry that uses energy will be subject to this "carbon tax"

This is the most ridiculous idea that has ever come down the pike, and it is largely thanks to Albert Gore, and the "Global Warming" crowd.

Please, please, call your congressmen today and tell them to vote NO on "Cap and Trade" We can't afford it. This will fundamentally change American life, and America forever. It is very, very bad. Please take heed.

"Card Check" in the Senate

While the House will vote on "Cap and Trade", the Senate is expected to vote on "Card Check", the unfair measure that will end the secret ballot in the work place when voting on whether or not employees want Union representation.

At one time, this had only a remote possibility of passing, but it is now in danger of becoming law, as deals have been made and objections from some thereby satisfied.

This is another bad, bad piece of legislation, which only serves to strengthen the Unions, and would result in intimidation of employees, as there vote on representation would no longer be private.

Call your Senators today and tell them NO on "Card Check"
