That's nothing, my sources tell me that he actually uses toothpaste to brush his teeth. Toothpaste for gods sakes!!! While the rest of us are suffering & using tree branches, he's living in the lap of luxury w/colgate & an actual brush. The nerve! Oh but for a drop of that colgate, just a wee drop.

We all know the gardener takes care of it.
And Americans mocked his little fireside chat and that cardigan for years to come. Like you said, he put on a show. Would it make you feel better if Obama at least "pretended" they weren't spending any tax payer money? Would it make you feel better if you thought he was taking a taxi somewhere instead of Air Force One?

He double flushed one of those hundred thousand dollar toilets!
(And according to Michelle, his target is usually off, too.)

Yes, they had to remove all the rugs from the White House bathrooms because the smell was so overpowering

The purpose of the party on the president's turf was to put the squeeze on Congress to pass that loser Energy Act . Looks like it worked.

The purpose of the party was the annual picnic for congress and their families. Sort of like most businesses have a summer picnic. Granted, everything with that group is political, but it is no different from the previous picnics in that regard.

You have to admit that the timing would make it appear that way:
Great time at the luau on Thursday, Yea vote on Friday.

Not to suggest that's the case, but timing.....

So when would they give a picnic that there wasn't an important vote coming up in three days?

I'm writing about appearances, not actual politics. I am not accusing anyone of anything duplicitous.

And as I've written -- the timing would make it appear that way.
