Famous people seem to die in 3's.

Elizabeth Taylor and Diana Ross must be inconsolable now.

Death is not an enemy of man, it is the chord that separates us from being bound to this world. It wouldn't benefit me or others to shed tears, because the whole world is screaming for love. We are supposed to rejoice because a human life is no longer in turmoil.

Michael is a lucky man. He had a great life on earth and will reunite with those he's loved and lost. It's a shame that today people will mourn him and tomorrow they're going to rip him for all the negative things he did while alive. In the end, I'll just say Michael, thank you for your entertainment. Your legend will live on.

No matter how you felt about him, this guy was legend. RIP. I feel sorry for his kids and family.

It's safe to say that MJ created more jobs than any of his detractors posting here on CD. The guy was an industry unto himself. His economic impact could run easily into the billions of dollars, and it will continue way beyond his death. If only for that he deserves our gratitude.

I challenge you CAgirl to have 1/4 the impact he has had on the world. We would all be better off if you spent your energy that way.

Tell me again what you have done?
I can tell you what I haven't done. I have never sexually molested children.

Enough said.

His physical transformation over two decades was astounding. He went from a dark ebony skin tone to an almost alibaster white. He completely altered (and disfigured) his nose, and had his lips reduced in size. He wore makeup and a wig to make him look more feminine and more Caucasian.

He also "acquired" children who were clearly Caucasian and not at all Black; therefore, quite obviously they were not his own biological offspring.

How the Black community can continue to idolize a Black man who would so blatantly shun everything about himself that was Black (making himself look as Caucasian as possible, and only having Caucasian children)...I'll never understand.
Michael Jackson was an affront to all Black people, and he was probably (although this hasn't been proven) a pedophile.

I hope this thread doesn't turn into some hero worship thread, because I just don't get the sentiments.
Oh please...this figures coming from someone like you...

He was idolized by many, just not black people - because of his music. The recent tour dates were announced, none were in the US. Have you taken a look at the fans in Europe & Asia who "worship" him? they aren't black
