Congress is now starting on the firearms confiscation bill. If it passes, gun owners will become criminals if you don't fully comply It has started America!!!
So, how likely is the Blair Holt bill's chance for passage? Pro-gun activists are vigilant but don't seem overly worried about it. They point out that the bill's failure to attract co-sponsors is an indication of a lack of enthusiasm for it among other congressmen. They feel it is too far-reaching and repressive of gun owners' rights to merit serious consideration by a majority of Congress.
liberals, republicans alike always say that until the sky is truly falling.
also, if you do not think the sky is falling on the peoples 2nd Amendment rights, then why not have all the liberals join in to have all federal gun laws and the batfe gotten rid of?

Never understand the liberal mindset on this issue (or any other issue). If we all had firearms, things like this wouldn't happen.
(6) on the afternoon of May 10, 2007, Blair Holt, a junior at Julian High School in Chicago, was killed on a public bus riding home from school when he used his body to shield a girl who was in the line of fire after a young man boarded the bus and started shooting
Do they think someone who is deranged enough to jump on a school bus and start shooting will cancel their plans because they don't have the proper permit? Why didn't that bus driver have a gun? It should be a requirement for the job.
No matter what the federal goverment says, I shall never get a goverment license to own or operate my 2nd Amendment right.
Nor I. Just as freedom of speech is a natural right that no government can limit the same holds true for gun ownership. We have inalienable rights granted by our Creator which cannot be modified, infringed upon or taken away by governnment and the right to defend those rights is implicit which means gun ownership. No gun control laws need be obeyed since they are by their nature an attempt to deny one's natural rights. This is how the Founders understood it and this why the Bill of Rights was adopted, as a defense against a tyrannical government. Our Constitution is there to limit governnment, not empower it.
