How have we been taken advantage of?
How many wars can the U.S. fight at one time?

You do realize this isn't a rap beef don't you? 3000+ civilians died on Bush's watch so that phone number should be disconnected.

Oops.
The ship turned around after all, something worked, and worked without the loud grandstanding and flag waving of the idiot Bush.
As I understand, no shots were fired, no ships were boarded, and no public threats were made, but somehow pressure was applied.
Excerpt from WaPo:
- Administration officials didn’t want to force an open confrontation by boarding the ship, especially when they weren’t sure what it was carrying. Instead, they pressured governments en route not to allow the Kang Nam 1 to dock at their ports. And the U.S. made clear it hoped that Burma would turn the vessel away if it tried to land. According to the White House official, that’s what happened ... the successful American effort to block the arrival of the Korean vessel sends a signal that “Obama has an open hand, but a firm handshake.”

Seriously, the US government is not really interested in truth and justice, just what suits our interests. If we were, North Korea wouldn't have existed since the 50's, Timor wouldn't have been raped and murdered into submission in the 70's and there wouldn't have been Darfur and Rwanda genocides. We did nothing because there is nothing to gain by doing just the "right" thing. We claim that as the reason for Afghanistan and Iraq, of course but who actually believes we did it just to bring Saddam to justice and liberate the people of Afghanistan from the Taliban, or even to avenge 911.
Hell no. Now we have Iraq's oil, military bases on either side of Iran (that actually has something worth looting) and are in easy striking distance of Russia. We could turn North Korea into a giant ashtray in 20 minutes, but it would be a waste of plutonium. I'm an Obama hater too but he did right on that one.

I want to ask you a question, If I can.
You and your friends are chilling, having a great time doing what you do.
A man comes into the place where you are and points a loaded 357 Magnum to your head and you and your friends have pocket knives.
What would you do?
