I will give you a single example: The custom of US presidents, and presidents around the world, of sort of showcasing their spouses, and children. How would you like the US President (a man) introducing his wife (another man)? That would certainly be hilarious! Don't you think so?

That is a bit unfair. Your were having full opportunity to express your opinion. You are simply running into a discussion with someone that will not yield to your perception of reality. I am not a basher. I simply believe that in this subject as well as in every subject in which conservatives and liberals clash there is a reasonable case to be made that liberals have it wrong. Liberals are destroyng this country. You have in Barack Obama the quintessential liberal. He perceives himself as everymans champion. He is in fact the enemy of capitalism. It is capitalism more than any other thing that we could site that makes this conversation possible. With capitalism you can claim the mantle and mantra of homosexuality, pro abortion, socialism, hedonism, athiesm, global warming, all those things liberals adore and champion.
When you have destroyed capitalism, with your careless and "perceived free thinking" ,you will have destroyed all of the above along with capitalism. Then you will think what you are told to think. It is the deepest darkest form of fascism that Obama and his merry band of traitors have thrust upon this great nation. He is the evil of the most high and does not even realize himself, that he is the instrument of catastrophe. You asked for it. Big Brother has truly arrived. You bashed Bush relentlessly for your perception that he was tapping your grandmothers phone, I guess to get her apple dumpling recipe. Now you turn a blind eye to this little traitor running all over the world dumping on the greatest and most benevolent country the world has ever known.
