Just curious; Have you bothered to read what this bill/policy will do to jobs, businesses and individuals?

If you had, it would be hard to imagine ANYONE could support such a bill.

If one had only listened to Obama's speeches then one would think this is a good bill, get off oil, create millions of high paying green jobs, make America better for our children and grandchildren. Hearing that one would think this is a good thing.

What percent of America do you suppose even knows that cap & trade was up for the vote yesterday ?

What percent of America do you suppose even looked over the bill and/or amendment ?

I'm thinking low, low double digits and that's optimistic.

There was a Rasmussen poll a few weeks back that indicated about 25% knew what it was.

How do we find out which Republicans voted yes for this? I've come to expect this type economic destruction from the Dems, but for any Republican to vote yes on this is an act of a total traitor. I understand there were eight of them. I want names....

In addition, there is a perfect example of how devastating this kind of policy will be. Spain. Take a look at what they have done and the disastrous results.

Make sure everyone has a big screen TV (remember those mad Xmass rushes to grab those 42" LCD TV's ?)
Make sure everyone has a converter box (Congress put more effort into that then any bill passed so far)
Make sure the MSM is on your side. (One sided infomercials, subdued opposing views)

That's how you sway American sentiment. That's how you get voters. That's how you get legislation passed these days.

Don't have one of those

Best thing they ever did. Now only have one TV instead of one in every room.

Yes, them Fox people are pretty one sided.

Voters? Who are they? If Big Business and the Corporation's want something, they get it. Nothing is done without a pat on the back and a wink of the eye from them. In the end, it will be written so they will be the winners.

As I wrote yesterday, in another thread, the deaths of Farrah and the freak could not have come at a better time for Obama and the dems. With all the frenzy going on about the freak, mostly, who gives a tinker's damn about a lil ole bill.
