Obama kept quiet so Iran couldn't push the blame and focus on us rather than its domestic sentiment. I'm not much of an Obama guy, but he definitely made the right moves.

Ok I get that. But then why the about face, total 360 degree opposite with Honduras ?
At least it wasn't covert; it was right out in the open via the State Department rather than a CIA ops.
Maybe something more to this than meets the eye regarding our foreign policy.
He seems to come down on the side of dictators, despots and murderers. Chavez, Ahmedinejad, Castro, Assad and now the guy in Honduras.
There isn't even 1 thing that you've said here that has any truth to it. Chavez has won his election, a referendum, re-election and a constitutional ammendment allowing him to seek another term. When he lost the first constitutional ammendment, he respected the results. So how is he a dictator? He does have authoritarian positions on some issues, but this doesn't make him a dictator. Bush had plenty of authoritarian positions as well; does this mean that he was a dictator?
Obama does not support Ahmedinejad. Just because he's willing to talk to him, doesn't mean that he is coming down on his side. On the contrary, Obama condemed (rightfully so, I might add) Ahmedinejad's oppressive responce to the protests that Mousavi's supporters have carried out.
Since when does Obama support Castro? Allowing Cubans in the United States to send money to their relatives in Cuba doesn't mean he's comming down on Castro's side.
Just like talking to Ahmedinejad doesn't equal support for the Irani government, sending an ambassador to Syria doesn't mean that Obama is comming down on the side of Bashar Al-Assad. Nixon sent Kissinger on midnight diplomacy missions to Communist China. Does this make Nixon a commie? Reagan always maintained contact with the Soviet Union. Does this mean that Reagan came down on Gorbachev's side?
As for the unfortunate situation in Honduras, Manuel Zalaya is Honduras' democratically elected president. Unfortunately he has been removed from power, sent to exile and the Honduran military is in control of the country, which looks like it is becoming a military dictatorship. Obama did the right thing in telling the Honduras to respect democracy and the rule of law. He should continue to take action to make sure that Honduras' democratic president, Manuel Zalaya, is returned to power. How does this qualify as comming down on the side of a dictator?
Gee, looks like the rightwing supports a return to the good old days of banana republics and military dictatorships. There's a real big surprise. How many governments have announced their support for the actions in Honduras and offered recognition to any new government? Any?
