Sure government funded that means little especailly when you see the meeting and the comments after he met with that group.Few groups would object to governamnt funding for anything service they sell. They do objst tot eh governamnt setting prices tho just for instance.

Rohack, who recently became AMA president, suggested Wednesday that the Federal Employee Health Benefit Program available to Congress members and other federal employees could be expanded as a public option. That would avoid having to create a new program from scratch, he said.

“If it’s good enough for Congress, why shouldn’t it be good enough for individuals who don’t have health insurance provided by their employers?” Rohack said.
Yeah.

The insurance industry spent millions on lobbying in the first quarter; if the AMA removes its support,
things will be very interesting. The insurance companies have had a fine time that past several years,
taking our payments while reducing, cutting, or denying our claims. I hope the AMA has noted the poll numbers and read the articles delineating quite clearly that the American people are demanding a
different system of care; one that actually puts patient before profit.

The public does not understand that the AMA does not represent the majority of physicians. Most members are primary care and they tend to sell out specialists. Thus the individual specialty organizations.

All most Americans will see is that the AMA, (all the doctors) are for this.
Whether it's correct or not.

So you represent the majority of Drs? Very narcissistic arnt you?
Again you are on the wrong side of the argument. You are on the side that lines your pockets not that helps people. If anyone reads your posts they can plainly see that you are only concerned about yourself not others. Empathy is a thing you do not poses in any form.
I had this argument with a buch of idiots from the military collectors forum. They could not hold their ground either. LOL.
